Important Information for RadStar iPhone/iPad users
It has been brought to our attention that some RadStar Alpha users that use iPhones or iPads are experiencing issues trying to connect to the RadStar Alpha device while in an area that does not have cellular data, or wifi available.
This issue seems to be connected to security changes in iOS, and can be fixed with a quick change in your iOS settings:
- Tap on Settings
- Tap General
- Tap Privacy
- Tap Bluetooth
- Make sure the toggle button to the right of “RadStar” is enabled (green)
Once this has been done, iOS users should not be prevented from connecting to the RadStar via Bluetooth without an available cellular or wifi connection.
